Saturated Saturday

Well, this was a bit of a lapse backwards, but it was still fun. The bar-hopping butterfly came out on Saturday on Cape Cod.

I overnighted at Lori's Friday night, and after sushi at Inaho we called it a night. Saturday morning, we shared a pot of coffee and stared out the window at the sunshine. That's it, Lori exclaimed, get ready Melissa we are going to the beach.

So we packed a bag of bubbles and headed up 6A to Brewster and sat with our faces to the sun, toes in the sand and flutes in hand and toasted to the beginning of the season. After our bottle was done, we headed to a local seafood restaurant for a late bite (complete with more bubbles) then back to Loris for yet for afternoon drinks in the sunshine. Jessica ventured over from New Beige and the 3 of us hit downtown Hyannis for dinner, and bottle upon bottle of Villa Sandi Prosecco and St Germain. We found some live music, and ordered cocktails and let the good times roll. Turns out Hyannis can be quite happening, despite my guetto impression.

So, suffice it to say, I don't have to elaborate on how bad Sunday was.
