My first friend ever was Dana Hernandez, who lived in our neighborhood in Summerville SC. After I moved to Georgia, my dad stayed in SC and Dana and I countinued our friendship over 3 day weekends every other month, summers and holidays.
Dana's mother "miss Donna" just celebrated her 60th birthday, and much to my chagrign I learned from the world wide facebook that she deserves a spot on my ride list.

Dana, I had no idea about your mom. Please know that I am praying for her and her speedy recovery. I'm actually riding in this bike race in August here in Massachusetts called The Pan-Mass challenge which raises funds for Dana Farber...just shy of 200 miles! I've added Miss Donna's name to my "ride for" list :-) If you have a chance to do a little bio about her that would be awesome so me to post. the blog is rookiefromtherock.blogspot.com and don't let my language offend you.
love and cheers!

We are still waiting for the "all clear"So thanks for adding her to the list of people you are riding for! That sounds awesome! let me know how it goes :) I checked out your blog...fun :)im off to enjoy some sun and heat now, we dont have that in Kansas City, where i now live, as i am sure you dont yet in Massachusetts :)
